A stack of crowns stacked and teetering as if spinning out of control. Made from welded hand hammered steel in 2023 as a response to tyrannical behavior in world leaders and politicians in the U.S. It began as a tongue in cheek response to the coronation of King Charles ( a nod to my love/hate relationship with the British monarchy, which is part of my life as a daughter of a British citizen). and morphed into a larger sentiment as I worked on it.
The title is from the Sex Pistols song God Save the Queen.
